I bought this on a whim because of a few videos I saw on youtube. I didn't really expect too much from it, but I found it pretty easy to set up. I also bought the double 00 2 weight floating fly line & 7.5 m tippet they offer here as well. I can't tell you how many fish I caught down at the lake in my housing development. There's mostly sunnies & pan fish, but also trout & bass up to a few pounds. I had so much fun with this that I bought another combo, this time a Goliath DS Fly set up. i probably won't break any world records, but when I can't get out to fish on my boat, I will always have a backup plan in place. Perfect for small streams and ponds
Caught many rainbows with this rod. Buy the fly line & tippet - perfect for it. Think about it. $25.99 for a mini fly combo that fits in ur pocket?!? It's a no brainer.

fits in my waist pouch or bike pack. i caught over 20 brookies on this rig so far.

Totally satisfied, quality product.
I bought the fly combo with the new Cortland line & tippet they offer., The product is awesome. I caught many fish on my backpacking trip in California. I would strongly reccomend that you get 1 of these if you are a fly fisherman. Next time I will try the 5' 3" pen rod goliath.

I LOVE these little pen fishing rods. Can someone please make a video of it in action on youtube. Cu's I want to one for Christmas but I want to make sure it is is worth the total of 40 dollars for the combine and line thanks hopefully ill find it in my stocking :)
