This is the NEW FS (Free Spool) Fly Reel. It is a shallow spool reel. We currently do not have double 0 fly line for this reel. If you are looking for a compact fly reel that will accommodate our double 0 Cortland Fly Line, choose our NEW DS (Deep Spool) Fly Reel that we have available. This reel is GREAT for ice fishing or using monofilament or multifilament lines. There are many applications that our innovative customers use this fly reel for. cool spool

This reel is the shallow 1. The deep spool is the one I wish I got, but this one is cool for monofilament line + I cut down the 00 double tapered line to fit on it. Anthony the CEO is one of the nicest customer service ppl I bought from. He is 100% straight up. Just read the warranty page & u will see what I mean. No bull shit.
